I'll never forget being jealous of my grade-school friends who bragged about their shared birthdays with Elizabeth Taylor (Pisces), Paul McCartney (Gemini), and Lisa Bonet (okay, so she's also a Scorpio but has a completely different birthday).
I always wanted to share my birthday with awesome celebrities too; leave it to me to be born on the same day (albeit very different years) as Mackenzie Phillips and Sinbad.

Don't get me wrong, I've been known to sit through reruns of "One Day at a Time" and I've seen more than my fair share of "A Different World;" incidentally, I would have settled for a co-birthday with Jasmine Guy's Whitley Gilbert (Pisces) or even Dwayne Wayne (Leo)...but Mackenzie and Sinbad?!?! There are no bragging rights in those names. Sure, I could have bandied about the fact that Claude Rains was also born on November 10. Outside of classic-movie buffs and a few teachers, however, I don't think anyone would have given one flying leap about Mr. Skeffington, nee Captain Renault.

I guess this just means it is entirely up to me to become world-famous and make the tenth of November something truly special. I guess I'll have to be the one about whom schoolchildren brag to their chums.

Okay, so I just did a Google search and, as it so happens, I do share a birthday with Lilly Pulitzer and Ennio Morricone. I guess that relieves some of the pressure to become a household name (phew!); they are both pretty brag-worthy!

DeleteFirst off...I'm also a Scorpio! November 18th. I share my birthday with Linda Evans, Owen Wilson, project runway winner- Christian Siriano and real housewife Ramona singer. It's 9 months after valentines day...so you do the math. Also, Tom cruise and Katie Holmes wed on this day, so it's practically a national holiday, right?

We went to visit Roy's grave and searched and searched and searched before we learned that his grave is unmarked! Why? I don't know but it left us CRYING, CRYING, CRYYYYYYING!!!
